Mail-in Balance Transfer Program for old CTA and Pace Farecards

As an additional convenience to CTA and Pace customers, both agencies are providing a mail-in option to have balances from old farecards and passes transferred to a registered Ventra Card.
Through Sept. 1, 2014, you can mail in specific transit cards, Chicago Cards, passes and magstripe permits to have the leftover value transferred to a registered Ventra Card.
